Exterior & Colors
Get your prefab shed with vinyl, stained wood, painted wood, metal, or log siding. Combined with metal and shingle roofing options, there are 100s of color combinations available for your modern shed.
Structural Changes
Upgrade your Skillion prefab shed roof from 5/12-pitch to 7/12-pitch and add dormers or a cupola. Floor upgrades include joists spaced at 12″ and pressure-treated plywood flooring.
Windows & Doors
Single, double (standard), and roll-up doors (on garage sheds) are available. Windows come in sizes from 18×27 to 30×36, including insulated options, and can be trimmed with shutters and flower boxes.
Special Packages
Turn your modern shed into an attractive office shed with the addition of one of our porch styles. Alternatively, our workshop package includes a workbench, shelf, pegboard, and a divider wall with a door.
Standard Features on the Skillion Modern Shed

- 2×8 floor joists and rim board on 4×6 skids; all joists and skids are pressure-treated
- ¾” tongue-and-groove flooring with a 50-year warranty
- 9′ front wall and 7′ back wall framed at 16” on-center with top and bottom wall plates
- Single slope roof
- Trusses with steel gussets, framed at 16” on-center
- A double door with a metal diamond-plate threshold
- Felt paper beneath roofing materials for increased roof longevity
- Drip edge on all edges of the storage shed roof\
- 6” to 8” roof overhangs, boxed in and finished with the same material as the siding
- A 10-year workmanship warranty on all modern sheds
